FRAME

The frame of the Falcon has been compressed to a 2” profile foundation. The frame can now be easily placed into your standard size bed frame. The weight capacity on the falcon is 800lbs, significantly higher than many other frames in this price point. 

MICROHOOK RETENTION SYSTEM

The Leggett & Platt Falcon adjustable base has been outfitted with their new MircoHook Retention system that helps keep your mattress in place without the use of a retention bar. Two bands of velcro like material attach to the mattress and keep it from sliding around during adjustment. If you choose to use a bed skirt with your base you will cover up the retention strips and need to use a retention bar. Fortunately, it's included with your base.

FEATURES

The wireless remote that is included gives you the ability to raise and lower the bed into positions that you choose. The fabric that the frame is encased in, is a contemporary gray color. Leggett And Platt Prodigy 2.0 Adjustable Base Vs Sealy Reflexion 4 Adjustable Base

The  Sealy Reflexion 4 and the Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 are two adjustable bases that are easily compared side by side. They are in the same price category and both have quite a few features. Both have wall hugging technology and a nightlight option. The similarities end rather quickly though as one comes out a clear winner.

First will start off with the obvious. The Sealy Reflexion 4 looks somewhat similar to the Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0, until your eyes run all the way down to the end and you see the bold retainer bar. The prodigy 2.0 doesn’t have a retainer bar. A new system was created to keep your mattress in place. The microhook system features two strips through the middle of the bed that keep your mattress in place no matter what position the base is in. You no longer need a mattress retainer bar to keep your mattress in place. For those of you who plan on using a dust ruffle, you will still need the retainer bar. Fortunately, it is still included with your adjustable base at no additional cost.

REMOTE DIFFERENCES

The next obvious difference is the remote. The Reflexion 4 has a wireless remote with lots of buttons and program options. It looks like a standard remote you would see for lots of things. The remote for the Prodigy 2.0 is also wireless and includes a base. The remote is sleek and very flat. If you are not impressed with the remote, how about you use your own phone? The Prodigy 2.0 even has an app that will work with your phone. This mobile app gives you full control over every aspect of the Prodigy adjustable base and includes additional functionality like gentle wake alarm clocks to wake you up with massage rather than a blaring alarm. There are USB ports on both sides of the bed to make charging your phone easy.

DIFFERENT LEGS

The Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 has telescopic legs that make adjustments easy. These newly redesigned legs are pressure tested up to 2200lbs and allow you to customize your bed height. Choose between 6-10" in height by simply clicking the tabs and extending the legs.

The Sealy Reflexion 4 and Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 are both very wise purchases. Leggett And Platt Prodigy 2.0 Adjustable Base Vs Reverie 5D Adjustable Base with Videos

The  Reverie 5D Adjustable base is quite cheaper that the Leggett & Platt Prodigy 2.0. Does that mean that it is better? Let’s find out.

As always, let’s start off with the similarities. Both adjustable bases have wall hugging technology, but the 5D calls it wall snuggler. This is when the bed is able to move without altering your ability to reach your nightstand. Both have adjustable legs with the 5D being an option that screws in. The Leggett & Platt legs can be adjusted a lot easier and have a wider range of adjustment. Both have wireless remotes with pre-programmed positions, but the Prodigy 2.0 comes with a base and also has access to an app to control the bed. Finally, both have massage functions, but the Prodigy 2.0 gives you a full body massage.

That is where the similarities stop. That is also where the features of the Reverie 5D stop as well. The Prodigy 2.0 is going to blow the Reverie 5D out of the water with features when they are put toe-to-toe.

EXTRA PRODIGY FEATURES

USB ports on both sides, under bed lighting, sleep timer, gentle alarm and anti-snore feature just name a few. The main feature is the lack of a retention bar. The 5D does have 4 corner bars that keep the mattress in place, but the Prodigy 2.0 goes above that.

The new microhook system features two strips through the middle of the bed that keep your mattress in place no matter what position the base is in. Now you no longer need a mattress retainer bar. New to the Leggett & Platt premier series adjustable bases is an exciting innovation. The telescoping legs! These legs allow you to customize the height of the bed much more easily that previous versions. Simply press the button and extend or retract the leg to the desired height. This adjustable leg creates a bed height (before you add your mattress) of 14-18". Just add your mattress thickness to get the total bed height.

Many customers were concerned that the buttons would slip after a while a shrink your bed height, but this does not happen. The Prodigy 2.0 modernizes the bedroom with interactive technology and adjustable comfort. The smart additions include USB ports, a touch screen remote, and telescoping legs. The Prodigy 2.0 is as smart as it is beautiful. 

PROGRAMMING

The Prodigy 2.0 offers a wide variety of programmable positions to ensure you are comfortable the entire time you are in the bed. You are able to quickly and quietly shift from one position to another with the powerful Whisper Quiet motor doing all the work. An extra benefit to the whisper motor is that you can adjust the bed without waking your partner. 

MASSAGE

CONTROLS

If you don’t want to use your phone the remote is just as easy. It adjusts your positions and also remembers up to four of your favorite settings. Make one of them your favorite sleeping position and the sleep timer will gently move you there just as you're drifting off. In the morning, the patented silent alarm will wake you with a gentle massage or the audio alarm if you need something stronger. 

ADJUSTMENTS

The Pillow Tilt adjustment feature optimizes comfort by providing support to your head and neck while you read or watch TV. The Prodigy 2.0 includes pre-programmed Zero Gravity and Anti-Snore positions. One-touch flat gets you back to the standard position with quickness. The Prodigy 2.0 offers fully dimmable under lighting, providing both ambiance and functionality. Program lighting with the alarm clock feature to help get your morning started quicker. 

WALLHUGGER
