This position puts you in a situation where your body is stretched out nearly flat, so you can sleep more relaxed in the chair.
ZERO-GRAVITY:
This position places your heart and legs at the same height while your back is decompressing for a more comfortable stay in the lift chair. NASA scientists introduced zero-gravity technology to their astronauts, so when they are seated in the spacecraft, the astronauts can better handle the G-forces during liftoff.
TRENDELENBURG:
This position places your head at a lower degree than your legs, so the blood flow to your brain is enhanced. It is recommended not to position yourself like this for more than 20 minutes, but you can check with your physician to learn more about the benefits of the Trendelenburg position, which can also provide a great back stretch.

The UC550-L Lift Chair is ideal for people 5'11" to 6'2", and also have a weight maximum of 375 pounds.
INTUITIVE REMOTE
The remote control is easy to use, so starting from the top, you have the lift and recline buttons to get you up or down from the lift chair. Next, are the position controls that are pre-programmed into the chair technology. Lastly, you have the infinite positioning arrow keys to adjust your head and feet to whichever position is perfect for your body.
BATTERY BACKUP
If the power goes out while you are in one of the lift chair's reclined positions, you are able to use the remote control which has two backup 9 Volt batteries installed. The batteries have the power to bring the chair back into a normal seated position safely. If you do have to use this feature it is recommended that you change out the batteries.
