What’s New With The Leggett & Platt Prodigy 2.0?

The original Prodigy base by Leggett & Platt was packed full of features that were innovative for the time that it was released. Leggett & Platt paid attention to the trends and adjusted the  Prodigy 2.0 so that you can have an adjustable base that fits in with your modern needs.
First off let’s have a look at what makes the original Prodigy such a great adjustable base. It is an affordable base that carries a 600lbs lifting capacity, while using a whisper quiet HD motor. Wall hugger technology is feature as well as a one-touch “flat” button that makes life a bit easier and quicker. Gentle-wake, sleep timer and programmable positions are all provided by a convenient remote that even has a locator feature.
All the features from the original Prodigy are still included on the 2.0 with some major upgrades and extras. The new exclusive app lets your control the gentle wake option, sleep timer and many other aspects of the Prodigy 2.0.
Some small convenience features have been added to the Prodigy 2.0. LED lights have been mounted under the bed and are fully dimmable by the remote or app. The lights can also be combined with the gentle wake alarm to create the perfect ambient setting. USB ports have been placed on both sides of the Prodigy 2.0 base. This way you can now charge any device while you are using it, or while you are asleep.
The remote has been redesigned into a sleek and stylish model. A simple layout has been created so that you can easily find the buttons you are looking for. A base has also been included for a secure place to leave the remote. The features on the remote can also be accessed in the mobile app, giving you multiple options on how to control the base.
Comfort features are also included in the new Prodigy 2.0. The Microhook retention system is on the prodigy base. With this system you can ditch the retention bar (unless you want to use a bed skirt) and just place the mattress on the base. Two Velcro like strips attach to the mattress to keep it in place when any movement occurs. Pillow tilt articulation helps to give you extra support throughout the night.
The Prodigy 2.0 has been compressed to create a slimmer frame, while increasing the weight lifting capacity to 700lbs. Telescoping legs have been redesigned and pressure tested up to 2200lbs, but can be easily adjusted from 6” to 10” in height at the simple click of the tabs.
Leggett & Platt paid attention to the trends and what you were going to be looking for in your next adjustable base. They have wrapped it all up in the Prodigy 2.0 and are presenting it to you so that you can have the best sleep possible.
